Frequently Asked Questions

Who can access the Client Resource Center?

The Client Resource Center is available to all individuals employed by current clients of AchieveGlobal.

A "current client" is an organization with whom AchieveGlobal has a current, signed master agreement. For information about the status of your organization's master agreement, contact your organization's training administrator or AchieveGlobal sales representative.

Access continues until the employee is no longer part of the organization or until the organization no longer has a current, signed master agreement in place.

AchieveGlobal-Certified trainers may access the Client Resource Center while they are employed by current clients of AchieveGlobal.

AchieveGlobal certification continues with the individual trainer throughout his or her career-even as the trainer changes employers. A trainer might be currently registered with AchieveGlobal and up-to-date in our Certification database, yet not be eligible for access to the Client Resource Center if his or her employer organization does not have a current, signed master agreement in place.

How do I access the Client Resource Center?

To access the Client Resource Center you must first register.

Each employee must individually register with a unique username and will receive from AchieveGlobal a unique password. To register go to www.achieveglobal.com, click "Client Login" in the top navigation bar, and choose "Click Here to Login". Once re-directed to the Client Resource Center page, choose the "Register to Access My Resources" link on the left.

Your username should be your email address at the domain of the current client organization (for example, your.name@youremployer.com). That helps us validate your eligibility. If you use a personal or other email address not at the domain of the current client organization, it may take us much longer to approve access.

Registration requests are usually processed in 24 hours. A password will be sent to your username email address from the domain achieveglobal.com. Ask your IT department to add the domain achieveglobal.com to the list of approved senders so emails will always get through

If you registered but did not receive your password, click the link to be sent a reminder email.

How do I locate appropriate resources?

Everything you need for a specific program is on one page.

Resources are arranged by the four competencies of Leadership Development, Sales Effectiveness, Customer Service, and Trainer Development.

Under each competency, there is a list of programs, often grouped by workshop title. Click on a program you are using. All resources associated with that program are displayed on that page.

On each page, resources are arranged by when you'll use them.

The Client Resource Center is arranged according to the AchieveGlobal Learning Formula, a cycle of learner-centric activities that result in sustained behavior change.

Commit to learn. The learner must be motivated to learn and to change his or her behavior. This phase succeeds when learners open themselves to new possibilities and resolve to master and apply essential interpersonal skills.
Assess current performance. Recognizing their own performance gaps further motivates learners and helps them focus effort in areas for improvement. Post-training assessments measure recollection of training content and skill use in the workplace.

Acquire knowledge. Learners encounter the cognitive details of a distinct interpersonal skill through presentation, reading, discussion, observation and analysis of realistic examples, simulations, and other activities. Typical content includes environmental cues that prompt skill use; a sequence of behavioral steps; relevant terms; examples of use and absence of use; and tips, tactics, and pitfalls for each step.

Develop competence through practice. The training of interpersonal skills requires rehearsing with humans-the intended audience for the new skills-in order to achieve competency. In a safe setting, learners rehearse the skill, receive constructive feedback, observe others using the skill and offer constructive feedback. The goal of this is to develop baseline competence and build confidence.

Apply new learning. A range of activities gives learners the clarity and resolve to apply their knowledge and skills. Managers of trainees can also reinforce and sustain skill application through coaching, recognition of skill use and modeling the skills.

Resources are labeled by who will use them.

To help users quickly find resources use most frequently in, or most valuable to, their roles, each resource is marked by target user icons.

(A) Administrator of training
(M) Manager of the participant
(P) Participant
(T) Trainer

Participant prework and some other resources are available to those who have not registered.

Completion of prework by every participant not only ensures the best learning experience for each participant but for the group as a whole. Links to prework appear both on the page for each specific program and accessible by everyone, without registration, from the homepage of www.achieveglobal.com,

Certain other resources - especially items that help commit participants to attending training - are also accessible by everyone, without registration, from the homepage of www.achieveglobal.com.

How do I download, store, and use resources?

Most resources may be downloaded to your computer.

To store each desired resource on your own computer for use while offline, click the DOWNLOAD button then follow the directions given.

Resources are compressed together into standard ZIP files.ZIP is a common method of compressing computer data into so it can be transferred quickly over the Internet. A second benefit of ZIP is that related files can be compressed together so one download gives you all required parts.

Almost every computer used in business already has software installed to view and decompress ZIP files. Frequent users might benefit from installing free or low-cost software designed to make using ZIP files easier. Find options by searching the Internet for "ZIP software."

If you have questions about ZIP files, contact your organization's technical support desk.

ZIP files are designed to de-compress into an easy-to-find folder named AchieveGlobal.

Because many programs have resources that work best together-for example, the leader guide, handouts, and digital slides for a follow-up skills practice-AchieveGlobal ZIP files are designed to automatically de-compress related files together into a folder called AchieveGlobal.

Inside the AchieveGlobal folder, each program's individual resources will be conveniently organized in a workshop-by-workshop, program-by-program structure. In the future, as you un-ZIP additional resources, each will automatically sort into this same, easy-to-find structure.

Because a frequent concern by Client Resource Center users is that un-ZIPped resources cannot later be located on the user's own computer, we recommend that all resources be kept in the default AchieveGlobal folder structure. However, you are free to reorganize un-ZIPped resources any way you prefer. The convenience and security of the default AchieveGlobal folder structure might outweigh any benefit from choosing your own organizing system.

The interface of each un-ZIP software is slightly different, but to un-ZIP into the default AchieveGlobal folder structure, select the option for "USE FOLDER NAMES" or "EXTRACT TO FULL PATH."

An example interface from well-respected ZIP software:

Once the individual files have been decompressed, the ZIP file itself may be deleted from your computer. The individual files will remain wherever you stored them.

Un-ZIPped resources are in common business formats such as PDF, DOC, PPT, etc.

For your convenience, individual resources may be read (and, where authorized, edited) by common business software.

PDF files may be read using Adobe Reader, available directly from the publisher at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

You may share resources only with eligible users.

Resources are for use only by organizations that have purchased a license for the accompanying workshops or modules and may be used only for training licensed learners.

Within that license, for ease of implementation you may download and redistribute resources via email or secure organization-specific private intranet. Please take appropriate cautions and educate all involved on the importance of complying with intellectual property protection laws.

All materials in the Client Resource Center are copyrighted by AchieveGlobal, Inc. All rights reserved. Neither these resources nor any part thereof may be reused or reproduced in any form or medium now known or hereafter invented or created without the express written permission of AchieveGlobal, Inc. Exceptions are clearly marked.

Some resources are only described in the Client Resource Center but not downloadable to your computer.

To help users access the full set of resources supporting each program, pages include descriptive text that either links to some other part of www.achieveglobal.com or refers the user to another source, such as an AchieveGlobal sales representative.

Resources are updated regularly, so check back for current versions.

This is especially important if you choose the convenience of downloading resources to your own computer and/or redistributing them via your secure organization-specific private intranet.
